My Immortal
by MYRYN VILLAFLOR
Each mirth and grief of drifting clouds
frigid days and lightless nights shrouds
musky rain’s trail out my window
Beloved, remind me of you
Marchen zephyr wending around
each mirth and grief of drifting clouds
enticed by your enthralling charm
-tousled hair and eyes so profound
Icy morning, dreary and bland
surrounds forested gothic land
each mirth and grief of drifting clouds
depicts tales of my immortal
A place my consort oft concealed
shadowy world alas revealed
yet the one place he never hides
each mirth and grief of drifting clouds
